PhantomBuster is a cloud automation platform that runs ready-made automations, called Phantoms, on LinkedIn, Sales Navigator and more than 15 other platforms. Its homepage now leads with "Warm Leads. Every Day." and talks about engagement signals, lead insights and company intel, a long way from the scraping toolkit most people know it as.

On LinkedIn the Phantoms still do what they always did. They export the people who liked or commented on a post, the results of a LinkedIn or Sales Navigator search, group members and company employees, scrape profiles, and send connection requests and messages, all from your own account through its session cookie. This page is about that LinkedIn use. Anybody using PhantomBuster mainly for Google Maps or Instagram is looking for a different list.
One thing worth saying first. WarmDogo is first on this list and it is the tool behind this site, and every PhantomBuster alternatives page ranking today was written by a vendor, nine of them with their own product first. Every fact below was read from each vendor's own site on 28 October 2026.
What are the best PhantomBuster alternatives?
| Tool | From | Finds leads by | Needs your LinkedIn login | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| WarmDogo | $99 a month | Public signals, scored against your ICP | No | A daily scored list with no cookie |
| Evaboot | $9 a month | Exporting Sales Navigator searches | Your Sales Navigator seat | Clean Sales Navigator exports |
| Apify | Free, then $19 a month | Pay-per-result scraper Actors | Depends on the Actor | Volume beyond execution-time limits |
| Waalaxy | €19 a user a month | Searches, post reactions, groups, events | Yes | Extracting and sending in one tool |
| Kaspr | Free, then €59 a user a month | Contact data on profiles you open | Yes | Emails and phone numbers |
1. WarmDogo

WarmDogo does the job most people run PhantomBuster's post-engager exports for, without the export. It builds an ICP from your website, watches public LinkedIn for people showing buying signals, scores every one against that ICP, and brings back a list each morning with the evidence attached.
The signals cover people engaging with your posts or a competitor's, people reacting to posts about a phrase or writing about it themselves, the followers of voices your buyers trust, companies hiring the role that buys, and people who fit the ICP and posted this month. It reads only what is already public, so there is no cookie to paste and nothing runs on your account.
That changes the work after the run, too. A Phantom hands back every liker of a post, and the sorting is yours. WarmDogo drops the people outside your ICP first and says why each remaining one is worth reaching.
Best for: founders, reps and agencies who used Phantoms to build LinkedIn lead lists and want a scored list each day with no session cookie involved.
Key features
- 30 public LinkedIn signals on Hunt, drawn from nine kinds
- ICP scoring with the public evidence attached to every lead
- A keep or skip queue that reorders the next run around what you keep
- CSV export, an MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, and sync to La Growth Machine
Pros
- No LinkedIn login or cookie, so nothing of yours is exposed
- Leads arrive scored and explained, where a Phantom returns raw rows
- Priced by signals, with leads, agents and workspaces uncapped
Cons
- Sourcing only: it sends nothing, so connection requests happen in your sender
- LinkedIn only, where PhantomBuster covers more than 15 platforms
- It finds people from signals, so it cannot export one specific search you built
Pricing: Sniff is $99 a month for 10 signals, Hunt is $249 a month for 30. Yearly billing is two months free. Your first 50 leads are free. No card, no strings attached. How it runs for one rep and across clients is written up separately.
2. Evaboot

Evaboot does one PhantomBuster job well: it exports a Sales Navigator search to a clean spreadsheet with verified emails. A Chrome extension works inside your Sales Navigator, and an API and MCP server cover the same export for scripts and assistants.
It needs an active Sales Navigator seat, and its site says every export stays under the limits LinkedIn sets. It does not export post engagers, send connection requests or message anybody.
Pricing is per lead. Starter is $9 a month for 100 credits, Grow $29 for 400 and Scale $49 for 1,000, with larger packs above that. One exported lead is one credit with its verified email included, and credits roll over.
Best for: people whose main Phantom was the Sales Navigator search export, and who want it cheaper and tidier.
Key features
- Sales Navigator search and list export from a Chrome extension
- Verified emails included with every exported lead
- An API, MCP server, and Zapier, Make and n8n actions
- HubSpot, Pipedrive, Attio, lemlist, Instantly, Clay and Google Sheets
Pros
- The lowest paid entry price on this list
- Credits roll over, so a quiet month costs nothing extra
- A rating of 4.6 and 200,000+ users by its own count
Cons
- Needs a Sales Navigator seat on top
- Sales Navigator only, with no post engagers or groups
- The site does not state a trial length or card requirement
3. Apify

Apify is a marketplace of ready-to-run scrapers, called Actors, that run in the cloud and charge per result. For LinkedIn there are Actors for post reactions, post comments, profiles and company posts, built by independent developers.
The reason PhantomBuster users move to it is the pricing model. PhantomBuster plans cap execution time and pause automations when it runs out. Apify charges for results instead: one post reactions scraper lists about 1.50 to 2 dollars per 1,000 results and says it needs no cookies or account.
The free plan includes 5 dollars of usage a month with no card. Starter is $19 a month, Scale $199 and Business $999, each with prepaid usage equal to its price.
Best for: technical users who want LinkedIn data at volume without execution-time limits, and who are happy to pick and test Actors.
Key features
- Thousands of Actors, including LinkedIn post, comment and profile scrapers
- Pay per result, with no execution-time cap
- Some LinkedIn Actors run with no cookie or account
- An MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor
Pros
- A free plan with no card
- The cheapest per-result price here at volume
- Cookie-free options for some LinkedIn data
Cons
- Actors are third-party, so quality and pricing vary between them
- More setup than a Phantom, and no outreach
- Some scrapers stop at a cap, such as about 1,200 reactions on one post
4. Waalaxy

Waalaxy combines the two halves of most PhantomBuster workflows in one no-code tool. It imports prospects from LinkedIn searches, Sales Navigator and Recruiter Lite, and from post reactions, groups and events, then sends connection requests and follow-ups until people reply.
It works through your LinkedIn account with a Chrome extension, and says it is built with LinkedIn limits and account safety in mind. Cold email is on the Business plan.
Plans are listed at €19, €49 and €69 a user a month, with quarterly and yearly billing cheaper than monthly. The page does not say clearly which billing period the listed prices use. The trial is 14 days.
Best for: founders who chained an export Phantom into Auto Connect and want that in one simpler tool.
Key features
- Prospect import from searches, post reactions, groups and events
- Connection requests and follow-ups that stop on reply
- Cold email on the Business plan
- HubSpot and Pipedrive, plus Make, Zapier and n8n
Pros
- Extraction and outreach in one place, with no workflows to build
- A 14-day trial
- More than 200,000 users and a 4.8 Chrome Store rating, by its own count
Cons
- Works through your own LinkedIn account
- Billing periods on the pricing page are unclear
- No scoring against an ICP, so the list still needs sorting
5. Kaspr

Kaspr covers the enrichment half of PhantomBuster: the Search to Emails and Profile Scraper jobs. Its Chrome extension shows emails and phone numbers on the LinkedIn profiles you open, including in Sales Navigator, from a database of more than 200 million profiles with European data as its strength.
It does not export post engagers or send anything, so it pairs with whatever finds the people. CSV enrichment covers a list you already have.
There is a free plan with a few credits a month. Starter is listed at €59 a user a month and Business at €99, with lower yearly rates shown alongside. Starter and Business include unlimited B2B emails and a yearly allowance of phone credits.
Best for: teams who already know who they want and need verified emails and phone numbers, especially in Europe.
Key features
- Emails and phone numbers on LinkedIn, Sales Navigator and Recruiter Lite
- Unlimited B2B emails on paid plans
- CSV enrichment for existing lists
- Zapier, dialers and an API on request
Pros
- A free plan to test the data
- Strong European coverage
- 4.4 out of 5 from more than 750 reviews, by its own count
Cons
- Enrichment only, with no lead discovery
- Phone credits are capped per year
- The pricing page does not label which prices are monthly and which yearly
How does each tool get into your LinkedIn account?
This is the question most people leaving PhantomBuster are really asking. PhantomBuster's setup guide says its session cookie "lets PhantomBuster act as your logged-in LinkedIn session", and its own blog has a post titled Why LinkedIn Disconnects You Even When You Stay Within Safe Limits.
- PhantomBusterYour LinkedIn session cookie, run in the cloudNeeds your login:YesSends or connects as you:Yes
- WaalaxyYour LinkedIn account, through a Chrome extensionNeeds your login:YesSends or connects as you:Yes
- EvabootA Chrome extension inside your Sales Navigator seatNeeds your login:YesSends or connects as you:No
- KasprA Chrome extension on profiles you openNeeds your login:YesSends or connects as you:No
- ApifyDepends on the Actor. Some run with no cookie or accountNeeds your login:DependsSends or connects as you:No
- WarmDogoPublic activity onlyNeeds your login:NoSends or connects as you:No
Two things separate the six. Needing your login to read is one level of exposure: Evaboot and Kaspr work inside your LinkedIn, but neither sends anything. Sending or connecting from your account is another, and only PhantomBuster and Waalaxy do it. Reading public activity with no login at all, as WarmDogo and some Apify Actors do, removes the account from the picture.
For what LinkedIn's own limits allow, see how LinkedIn connection limits work.
What does PhantomBuster do better than these alternatives?
PhantomBuster is ahead on several things a reader should weigh before switching.
Breadth. More than two dozen LinkedIn Phantoms, eight more for Sales Navigator, and automations for more than 15 other platforms. None of the five covers anything like that range.
Chaining. Workflows link Phantoms together, so an export can feed enrichment, then Auto Connect, then a message. Waalaxy offers part of that and the rest need a second tool.
Fair limits. Every plan has unlimited users, and running out of execution time pauses automations with no overage charge.
A real trial. Fourteen days with no card, though exports are limited to 10 rows until you pay.
Which PhantomBuster alternative fits what you need?
Do you want leads without connecting your account? WarmDogo reads public LinkedIn activity and scores it, and some Apify Actors scrape without a cookie.
Was your main Phantom the Sales Navigator export? Evaboot does that one job cheaply, with verified emails included.
Are you hitting execution-time limits? Apify charges per result, with no time cap.
Did you chain an export into Auto Connect? Waalaxy does both in one tool.
Do you mostly need emails and phone numbers? Kaspr adds them on the profiles you open.
How do you switch from PhantomBuster without losing data?
- Download every result file first. Each Phantom keeps its output as a CSV or in a connected sheet, and the trial limits exports to 10 rows, so pull them while your plan is active.
- List the Phantoms that produced leads you used. Their inputs, the post URLs, searches and groups, are what the next tool needs.
- Stop scheduled launches before you cancel. A Phantom set to run daily keeps using your LinkedIn session until it is turned off.
- Sign out of LinkedIn sessions you no longer use. Signing out from LinkedIn's own settings ends the session cookie PhantomBuster was using.
- Run the new tool alongside for a week. WarmDogo, Apify and Kaspr start free, so the overlap costs nothing on those three.
